Los Cusingos Bird Sanctuary, a 78-hectare private reserve in the Alexander Skutch Biological Corridor, was home to ornithologist Alexander Skutch (1941–2008). Featuring over 2 km of trails through botanical gardens surrounding Skutch’s residence, visitors can observe diverse birdlife like the Turquoise Cotinga and Golden-naped Woodpecker and tour his former home for an immersive nature experience.
